Adeel is currently a PhD candidate at the School of Electrical Engineering and
Telecommunications. He holds a highly competitive University International
Postgraduate Award (UIPA) for his PhD stint at UNSW and another scholarship from
Commonwealth Science and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), Australia.

At UNSW, Adeel is supervised by  A/Prof Jinhong Yuan. He is also supervised by
Dr. Iain Collings of CSIRO ICT Center and Dr. Daniel Ryan of NTNU.
 
Prior to his PhD candidature, he completed a MSc in Communications Engineering from
The University of Technology Aachen (RWTH), Germany in March 2006 and a Bachelors
of Electrical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology Karachi,
Pakistan in the year 2002.

Adeel received University Medal upon graduating from NED University of Engineering
and Technology. He is also a chair of IEEE UNSW Student Branch.

--- 28.05.09: I visited NTNU for 2 weeks and also gave a seminar [slides].
--- 13.02.09: I received another competitive student travel grant for presenting paper at ICC'09 from IEEE.
---  24.06.08: I received the student travel grant for presenting paper at  PIMRC'08 from ComSoc.
---  30.07.07: I started my PhD. Wish me luck!
---  29.07.07: I have arrived in Sydney at 11 am. Its a nice sunny Sunday here!
